Who is Mathew Knowles?
Father, husband, educator, entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker and record executive.
How did you get started in the Entertainment industry?
I got started by first establishing my passion as I transitioned from corporate America, going back to college and attending as many workshops available.
What led to you resigning from your job?
I was in Medical Sales and the industry changed with the introduction of Manages Care. Medical Sales was no longer a passion so I had to reset priorities.
Our readers at The Job Connect would love to know: What was the experience like developing Destiny’s Child and eventually Beyoncé and Solange as independent artistes?
Fortunately as artistes they were extremely talented, had the image, great songs, went through artist development, great team, strategy and work ethics.
What have you been up to recently?
2020 will see several Destiny’s Child projects unfold, new book, film an TV projects with a focus on public speaking and lectures.
We have a lot of aspiring musicians in Barbados who would love to be recognized internationally. What advice can you offer them?
It would require hours to answer which is the reason I would like to do another music seminar in Barbados.
